Unlike the predecessor version, the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 featured a fully customizable user interface to measure up to other competitor apps such as Adobe Photoshop. This software included enhancements to Corel PHOTO-PAINT, which supported newer PSD file formats, allowing designers to share data across design platforms. Designers could also access settings in the user panel to set up a Photoshop environment to allow Adobe Creative Suites users an easier transition to Corel applications. Besides improvements to the user interface, inclusion of in-built assets such as clip arts, graphics templates, pattern fills, color combinations, and easy-to-access class layout made working with the app a breeze. The Corel Draw X7 photo editing application could support over 300 cameras for RAW image processing. The application also introduced the Font Playground docker window, which made vector graphics and photo editing easier. This way, it was easier for a designer to hit their designing goal with fewer reworks.
