Who is The God Whorshipped by Christians YHWH or Allah

This book was born out of my concern regarding the understanding that I have encountered among some Christians concerning the name of the God they worship. On many occasions, I have found that many Christians regard Allah as the personal name of God in the Christian faith without ever examining how the Bible—particularly the Hebrew text of the Old Testament—reveals God’s name.
According to the understanding that forms the basis of this book, the Bible shows that God revealed Himself to Moses by the name YHWH (יהוה), as recorded in Exodus 3:15, and that this is the name by which He made Himself known to the prophets throughout the Old Testament. For this reason, I was encouraged to trace the historical journey of God’s name in the Scriptures, beginning with the Hebrew text, continuing through the Greek New Testament, and following its translation into Arabic and later into the Malay and Indonesian languages.
I have also observed that the historical development of God’s name has not often been discussed in depth within many Christian teachings. As a result, many believers have accepted certain terms without understanding their historical background, linguistic development, and the process by which they entered Bible translations. It is my hope that pastors, priests, Bible teachers, theologians, and Christian educators will provide clear and biblically grounded teaching so that believers are not led into confusion by equating the name YHWH with other deities that were never revealed or proclaimed by the prophets of either the Old or the New Testament.
This book is not written to attack or diminish the beliefs of any other religion. Its primary purpose is to encourage Christians to reexamine the Scriptures, to understand God’s name according to the testimony of the Bible, and to recognize the importance of the name that God Himself revealed, as declared in Isaiah 42:8:
